Hi all,

I'm fairly new to keeping cichlids and have had some bichardi for a few
month now, and now many babbies. I know they are substrate breeders and
also colony breeders. Apart from that not much else i could find. I
was wondering if a.) anyone has experience with them and b.) what else i
should know about keeping them, feeding, water conditions, etc... Thanks.

If you mean Neolamprologus brichardi, here's a couple of articles that
agree with my own experience. I had a small colony of N. sp. "daffodil"
for a while in a Tanganyikan tank and found them beautiful, hardy, and
prolific. Mine cave spawned, and ate anything offered. I used Tetra
Bits as a staple, supplemented with live foods.

You are breeding them so they must be happy. Just keep doing what you are
doing and don't change anything :)
