What do you guys recommend as an algae eater in a 58 G tank with bolivian
rams, angels, corys and swordtails?

A bristle-nose plec (ancistrus spp.) is good because it will stay an
appropriate size for your tank. If you have plants, add 5-6 Otocinclus
to eat soft algae off of the leaves. If you have black brush algae, 2-3
siamese algae eaters (C. siamensis) will keep it in check.

Mystery snails and Amano shrimp (Caradina spp.) also eat algae and are
fun to keep with peaceful fish. Small shrimp may be eaten, though.

I agree i have A male and a female in my 65 gallon tank, and they seem to
be quite happy. And they are effective at their job.
