Hi All,

It's a 200L tank (UK 47.5 gall - US around 55gall)

Current inhabitants are-

4 Pseudotropheus Saulosi Juvs (sold to me as something else but still not
convinced)
2 Aulonocara Hybrid OB Peacocks
4 Maylandia Lombardoi
3 Melanochromis Cyaneorhabdos (Electric Blue Johanni)
2 Yellow labs

The Electric Blues are breeding like you wouldn't believe, The Maylandia
male shifts sand/grave....

I had 3 Rusty's in there.....one got very fuccind, the male has vanished -
stripped down the tank and cannot find any trace....the remaining female was
hiding and very distressed tonight....I've moved her but her companions will
be a betta. 2 platy fry and 2 ottos....

My feeling is for her own protection she needs to go back to LFs but that
won't happen for a week....will she be safe in her new environment?

She may eat the platy fry. Otos should be fine. It's hard to know
about the betta because they're all different, but you can always put
him or the rusty in a breeding net or jar the betta for the week if they
can't get along.

They all seem to be getting along for the meanwhile although she is a bit
nervous and hiding in the cave I made for her just coming out briefly for a
look around and then back in again. The Betta was curious but has gone back
to swimming with his platy friends. The otos have just taken up residence on
the slate that I used for the cave.

Feeding is going to be interesting with this mix of fish.....
