My angels always did best in slightly acid soft water.
The angels are only a couple of months old. I got them

They will do much better if you add some "meaty" foods such as thawed brine
shrimp and blood worms.

How can the PH be zero??? Do you mean Ammonia and/or Nitrites? If you're
getting a PH of zero, you need another kit. My angels did best at a PH
around 6.8.
