Easy. When raising baby angels, one usually feeds them live food from
hatching, until they are larger and can take dry foods.
They will resist giving up the live foods, daphnia, brine shrimp, etc.,
you have to let 'em get pretty hungry, sometimes, but they come around
... eventually. :-)

I was telling you about my experience with frozen beef heart, and how
my angels wouldn't eat it.
Feeding beef heart will put on bulk quickly in angelfish. That was
just a general fact that did not pertain to my angelfish.
If you can get yours to eat it, it will bulk them up quicker.
Kind of like feeding fry boiled egg yolk. It's great for faster
growth, but it's terribly messy.
Some foods will promote a quicker growth, or a "meatier" fish.
However, there always seems to be a downside to those foods (IMO).

I feed all my fish a combination of frozen and live foods, and give flake
food once per week. Frozen foods consist of bloodworms, adult brine shrimp
& baby shrimp. Live foods include grindal worms, springtails, daphnia, and
black worms & mosquito larvae whenever I get the opportunity.
