You were doing well for a while there on rec.aquaria.freshwater.misc.
What happened?
I don't know what the deal is with you and tara legale (sp?), but
geez.
No knowing the reasoning behind your comments makes you sound really
nasty.
I mean, I get the *why* with you and MiMi, but sometimes it can get
out of hand (the language), and then she looks "good". (in quotes
because in no way is she good for any group, but you know what I
mean).
People will come around and warm up to you if you stay on topic and
not use such foul language.
I'm a mother and I wouldn't let my kid read this group because of the
language that is used by people.
I'm no goody goody, but I do try to watch what I say where kids can
access.
Please try to understand why I'm asking you this. I'm not trying to
jab at ya, just trying to nudge you in a better direction. Of all
things you don't want to make her right. Let her hang herself with
her
behavior.
Don't give her any fuel what so ever.
If you read my reply to her (under another new name!) where she says
your inviting trolls....I let her have it, yet I chose my words
carefully. In no way was saying anything bad against you, so don't
take it that way. Like I've said before, I understand the *why* you
do
it. Heck, I'd like to wring her neck myself.
But then again I'm trying very hard not to sink to her level. I've
fallen many times, but I am trying.
I know it's SO hard at times not to type out what you really want to
say, but try and resist.
You have some great knowledge in your head when it comes to this
hobby, but with all the other stuff that gets lost.
Let your knowledge be seen and used to help folks.
Please.....pretty please. With sugar and sprinkles on top?

YOu may be surprised how many warmed up to me in the last couple of
days when I posted what I did....opened a lot of eyes, thats for
sure......and by the way haave yu looked at a few of Gills posts as
well with some nice 4 letter words too, or is that acceptable since
she is supposedly in a pissed off attitude right now and allowed to
vent!

I tried your plans and they failed miserably, now its time for my own
method and ideas.

I can be bought, but not for a few spinkles and sugar Tynk.its gonna
cost a lot more than that trust me!

Thats the problem, I have been following everyones elses advice and
game plan as the google reclaim group illustrates very clearly..now
its time to strike out on my own. And you know what...in over 3 days
there has not been one post between Carol and myself that was spawned
that lead to fueding was there...hmmmmmmmm could it be that perhaps my
method of dealing with things works better than the super three's
method? One could only assume thats it so far but we'll see......

This is what I'm confused about. What are you talking ab out? Plans
for your removal?
I have/had no plans what so ever to do so, nor was I part of any such
plan.
Don't lump me into a group by assuming I'm apart of, as I am not.
In all honesty, i have no idea what you are talking about, nor whom
you are talking about.
If you do know of such a group with plans for your removal, why not
ask them if I was apart of it. The answer will be NO.

There's a difference between making an opinion, and stating your
opinion as fact, which is what Carol has done many times in regards to
Bettas. When I correct something, it's done from FACTS, not opinions.
This is where you and she has made an error.
It's got nothing to do with what works for some may not work for
others, etc. When you have science telling you there is proof of
damage done to a fish when kept in a small bowl, compared to a normal
size tank with room to swim, opinion falls out the window and has no
place anymore. Fact is fact. When Carol claims keeping Bettas in small
bowls was fine because hers lived for 4 years and they "thrived" that
way, when science has proven that to be completely wrong....that
damage is done to their muscles and tissue damage is done and it's
shortens their lives (they have been shown to live well over 6 years
in a filtered, heated, spacious tank) and that by housing them in such
small places has shortened their life spans drastically. This IS NOT
my opinion. This is fact.
Her opinion is that it's fine. When I corrected her on this matter, I
get a response about how I have a know it all attitude and nobody's
opinions or methods are fine unless they're mine, etc., is such a
bullshit response because it has NOTHING to do with opinions in the
first place. It has to do with facts correcting somebody's opinion
about the matter that is not correct.
My point is to correct bad or bogus information out there, and give
out the correct facts regarding Bettas.
If she can't handle that too damned bad. She needs to stop whining
about being corrected when she gives an invalid opinion.
I care more about newbies the correct facts that I do about her
feelings. It's a shame she refuses to learn the facts.
There are several examples of where to read these facts that I have
listed in the past, all which she refused to read.
Yet she goes on and on about how I think my "opinion" is the only one
that somebody should follow when that's not the case.
I spout facts, not opinions. When I spout an opinion, I say it's my
opinion, or that I think, etc.
There's a huge difference and you both know it. She just wants to make
a big thing about it and twist the fatcs into them being my
opinion...which they are not.
This is what started all the crap between her and I yrs back and she
is still doing the same thing.
Now you're saying it too. Get a dictionary and look up both *fact* and
*opinion* and learn the difference between the two.
