Please log in for more thread options Why is it that every time somebody actually starts talking about fish
on a FISH newsgroup, Carol has to turn it around make it be all about
her.
It's been like every darn post that starts out about fish, she has to
turn it into something about her.
Everybody that posts here is so sick of it.
She needs an entire forum just for her. That would solve the problem.
Then maybe we could get back to discussing fish in a FISH newsgroup.
*Carol...do NOT comment about YOU in this thread, Roy, or that Santana
guy.* Frankly, everyone is tired of hearing it. Why ruin an entire
forum over just you?
However, if you would like to discuss anything FISH RELATED, sure. No
problem.
Do you even have fish anymore?
I've recently had an Angelfish spawn.
I currently have many lovely Bettas (mostly crowntails), many females
and several males, Pearlscale Angels, and one half pearlscale/marble
that recently spawned with my silver pearlscale angel.
The Bettas are in nothing smaller than a 1 1/2g tank equiped with
heater and filter of course.
That's only 2 of the males though. The rest are in 2 1/2g's, 3g's, a
5g, and then a resident male and all the females are in a 75g.
If anyone thinks Bettas can't be in larger tanks, with tank mates must
a moron.
These fish are only slow when kept in small, cramped quarters like
little bowls.
Current studies have shown that by keeping them in small bowls / vases
without room to really swim and stretch those fins, damage is done to
their muscles and tissues.
It's also proven that they live 5-6-7 + yrs when kept in larger,
heated and filtered tanks like other fish.
These fish for the most part are social creatures. There are the rare
ones that do not like company, but those shouldn't be kept in small
containers. The deserve a normal size tank equipped with heater and
filter too.
As of right now, my angel fry are little wrigglers. So cute.
I was able to save only a handful from one of the other Angels in the
tank. I had removed the Pleco to another tank so he woulnd't gobble
them up, but another male decided he didn't like his mate spawning
with another male and went in for all the eggs. He was getting bitten,
chased, the whole nine yards, but it didn't matter to him. He wasn't
having this spawn in the tank.
I quickly scooped up as many eggs as I could get....all while this
male was trying to eat them. He didn't even care about my hand or the
net being there that was catching the eggs as I removed them from the
spawning site.
They have a little Riccia and Duckweed in with them for cover and to
feel a little more secure.
They'll be hungry little buggers soon.
As soon as a switch some tanks around I'll put the orignal angel pair
in a tank of their own.
I would prefer the female to spawn with the gold pearlscale, as I
wanted pearlscale fry.
I have 3 local shops that want some, so I'll have no problem with what
to do with fry when old enough to go.
So come folks, lets see how many posts we can get going about actual
FISH. = )

Maybe because every time Carol posts something ON-TOPIC she's immediately
attacked or insulted by one or two of the same troll regulars here. Maybe
these few regulars lacking self control should killfile "Carol."

How about taking your own advice and talking about fish instead of "Carol?"
