Sometimes (Like right now) the Loaches race up and down the tank at high

Sometimes (Like right now) the Loaches race up and down the tank at high
speed. Up and down and up and down. Like they are going crazy. Is this
normal?

Yes, my wife saw it for the first time last week and thought they were dead.

Yeah, I remember the first time I saw them do it - it was panic
stations...and then they just swam off without a care in the world :-)
