Mr. Smith,

Instead of bickering childishly, why not talk about the group's
subject. FISH.

Do you even have any?

How long have you been in the hobby?

Any certain types you may fancy?

I pretty much stay in lurk mode. I still have my aquariums and all is doing
well with them. :-)

Great to hear!
My newest purchase was a lovely Butterfly pattern - Delta (possibly
Halfmoon, as his tail is still growing. I have to check the degree of
the tail spread to be sure) tail male betta. He's blue (teal with a
flash) and white. Nice young male too. Easy going, doesn't snatch all
the food from the dwarf frogs.
The other male I had in this tank was too scared of the ghost shrimp,
and terrified of the frogs.
The shrimp would touch the betta with his antennae and the betta would
freak out.
He went back into his original tank, and the butterfly is now living
happily with the frogs and a shrimp.
Since he's not afraid of the shrimp I wouldn't be surprised if one day
it became dinner.
Most of the bettas I have will do that. Some will eat them right away,
but that's what these shrimps are for.

Are you still breeding bettas? Mine didn't bother the
shrimp. The shrimp lived for awhile and died on it's own. I
have only two bettas left. The 2 yr old female and a blue
male about the same age. I put them in the community tanks.
So far so good. They're not bothering the other fish.

Are these the same dwarf frogs you've had for several years
now? Any pollywogs?

No. Haven't tried.
I'm focusing on my angels, as I have 2 pairs of blacks (standard) and
2 new Gold Pearlscale's that I'm hoping at least one turns out to be
female for my lonely boy.

No, these frogs are newer (few months old).
The batches that the store got were all males....2 different batches...
2 weeks apart, all male.
I remember the last batch I had that you were thinking about. I was
trying to search for a male, as I had all females.
Noticing that these recent batches were all males, I got to thinking
that the dealer is sending them that way (same sexed batches).
It was the funniest thing at the store though. Here's me and the guy
trying to find females out of a tank of maybe 30 frogs.
He's a nice guy though. One of those employees that knows some....but
*very* open to learning.
