Sheesh. Such diplomacy. Best way to shut up a cynic is to dump it in
his lap and say "here, you do it." Or I could follow the model of the
president of my country and say, "I'll ask Condi, she knows more about
that kind of stuff".
In fact, this may be a good time to take a look at changes and
improvements/unimprovements among the popular brands that are out
there today. Marineland/Penguin, Tetra Whisper, and Hagen Aquaclear.
For example, the inclusion of ceramic noodles in the Aquaclear is a
nice addition that wasn't there when I bought mine. I'll put out a
call for input here, (not now, wait until I ask), and get something
together with a little help from the group in the next few weeks. Give
me something to do in the wee wee hours of the morn when nothing is
moving but me and the cats, both furred and finned.
On a related note, I was aimlessly browsing through some of the
staggering amount of information at The Krib the other day, following
links to articles, FAQs, some of these are composed of a collection of
emails, and I ran into an old friend in one of them - myself in a
previous internet incarnation. More than 10 years ago. My eyes sort of
popped open and I read the page carefully and yes, that's my old email
address, and yes, the message is a factual report of something I once
did, but I sure don't remember writing it. One never knows where one's
emails may end up. Enshrined in The Krib. Quite an honor, considering
where some of my other emails have been, ahem, enshrined.
