I JUST got a betta fish and have received conflicting advice on how much and
how often to feed the little guy. I have HBH BETTA Bites. Do I suppliment
with anything else?

 I feed mine with the Beta Bites once a day at supper time. Have had him for
18 months now.

How many Betta bites are you feeding at once?
It would better for your boys system if you broke it down into a
morning and evening feeding.

I would supplement with things like freeze dried bloodworms, or frozen
or frozen brine shrimp.
Mine are sooo spoiled. No more hikari bio-gold for them! froze
bloodworms, frozen brineshrimp, and freeze dried daphnia!
Just don't be offended when after you give them the good stuff, the
turn their noses away from the pellets

I feed blackworms or thawed frozen bloodworms occasionally instead of
prepared food. As for amount, mine get 3 pellets of baby-sized Hikari
Betta Gold. I don't know how the size compares to Betta Bites. I feed
once or twice a day depending on how hungry he seems.
