Some of the chemistry is wrong, but in general I agree with what's in
the article.

In comparing the ppm ratios of chemicals it is proper to use the
atomic or ionic weight, not the atomic number. In the discussion of
chloride and nitrite ions the error builds in this article, in the
other parts of the discussion the error is much smaller than the
accuracy to which we work.

Err...umm...I can't seem to access any of the links from the Skeptical
Aquarist

No images are showing up...404 errors about pages not found...turned on
cookies..referer logging..active x, java, java scripting..3rd party
cookies..all configurations wide open save the firewall. Any help?
