and he's staying all my himself. He's such a friendly little guy, the
way he looks at me. :) I don't think he cared for other fish, and I
don't want any gourami fights. Did you know these fish were so friendly?

Some are some are not......Tynk mentioned she thought it was a dwarf.
I seem to think its a dwarf flame gourami. Dwarf flames have the back
half of them a bright orange or sunset orange color. and dwarf
gouramis are a bluish color, with lateral or horizontal lines of
reddish orange. They only get about 2 to 3 inches in size in an
aquarium.....and they do benefit from some veggie matter in there diet
as well.

It is a flame gourami, not a dwarf. You really have some bad advice and
info.

A flame? I looked up photos of dwarfs, and they look like just like
mine. Now I'm gonna go take a look at pics of the Flame ones.
