Not true at all. You cull by QUALITY, not size.

YES!!!! And do it as soon as possible so the gap doesn't widen to there
the largest start seeing the smallest as snacks. At that time remove all
those that may have deformities such as missing eyes or deformed or missing
fins or gillcovers.
