my moor and my fantail and CONSTANTLY chasing my lionhead around the tank -
in fact the moor looks to be wearing her for a hat! they don't seem to be
hurting her but are pushing her into corners and along the tank. They have
all lived together quite happily for about 3 years so it's not territorial.
I know the moor is male but can't tell with the lionhead or fantail. Could
it be some sort of mating thing? The constantly have their noses up her bum!

could well be a breeding thing; if you've got two males and a female I
understand that it's possible for the harassment to become quite
severe...

Yea, that sounds like typical breeding behaviour to me. If the chasing
persists or the female starts to look stressed you may have to remove
her to another tank. It is possible for your female to die from the
stress of all the chasing. If you cant remove her maybe add lots of
floating plants so she has a place to hide. I have two males who did
that chasing bit and I ended up having to play musical tanks to get
everyone settled down.
