I've recently had some weird things happening in my reef tank. My
bi-color angel--a normal sized dwarf angel--has dissappeared. I
noticed yesterday that my CB shrimp is missing an arm. My cleaner
shrimp (3) disappeared some time ago. And now, my yellow tang has a
little "wound", about the size of a tic-tac, in his side. I have
numerous small hermit crabs, small red crabs, and a small
(quarter-sized) emerald crab. Any ideas on what's going on here?
Thanks. Feel free to email...

You've somehow recently accidentally introduced a Mantis Shrimp?

How would I know? How could that have happened? And if so, is there
any solution to the problem? Thanks.

Have you recently added any live rock or Corals attached to fairly
substantial pieces of live rock?

its sound like a killer Mantis Shrimp. if it wasn't for the missing arm I
would say a star fish could do that also,,,I had on making a home then when
the fish swam in to the little cave it made,,, the star would close down on
the fish...
