Well I'm back. I'm using Earthlink now to access the
internet and newsgroups. Pathetic aol dumped all
newsgroups some time ago. Since I had long ago moved over
to my own personal e-mail address, it made moving eayer.
It's nice when an internet provider doesn't own your
e-mail address.

Welcome back Wayne. One day I'll start using an email address with
melevsreef.com as the host. I'm so used to the one I've used for years,
I can't seem to transition away from it.

What I did was use a forwarding address, so that it would
forward to my old e-mail address, and that way it was easy
to slowly transition over to the new address.

So I would give out the email address,
Wayne@WayneSallee.com, and when people would e-mail me, it
would farward to my aol address. I would then respond with
the aol email address, but then after everyone was swiched
over to the new e-mail address, I changed it over from a
forwarding address to a pop account. I still monitored my
aol address, and when people would send to that address, I
would let them know of the new address.

It made the transition real easy.
