My 55 gallon FOWLR is now 3 months old.

More and more stuff is appearing on, in and around the LR and LS.

Some type of tube sponge has appeared in one cranny. There are small tube
worms all over the place.

There are now tiny white spiral specks on the glass. From a quick google it
appears these are some sort of "polychaetes" which are tiny filter feeders?

It will be interesting to see what this looks like at 12 months.

You will see stuff pop out a year later! I did.

Those small filter feeders are cool. I don;t have them anymore though. Too
much
stress from moving tank in Feb.

Heck, I've had new stuff pop up after 3+ years!
Now whether they were somehow introduced without my knowledge
or were dormant in the rock, I don't know. This hobby will continue
to surprise you & frustrate you for years and years. :-)

It seems to run in cycles, first a wave of something will prosper then
gradually die out to be replaced by something else. Mine is over 5 years old
now and there is always something new coming along.
