Please log in for more thread options I recently introduced a new clown fish into my 75 gal FOWLR.
In the tank I also have :
2 other Clown Fish
4 damsels
4 worm gobys
1 Coral Beauty Angel
1 Powder Blue Tang.
When I placed the newest Clown in the tank, the Powder Blue, Clowns
and some of the damsels began to attack the new clown. I found him a
day or so later hidding in the corner under a piece of LR. He won't
come out.
A friend of mine suggested rearranging the rock around because the
fish become teritortial and this will put all the fish on equal
footing, so to speak. I'm lookng for suggestions to help the new
clown in the tank.

I do not think it will ever work out. Clowns will invariably fight
with any new clown, whether of the same, or different species. If you
want to keep it alive, you will have to remove the newcomer, I'm
afraid.

That's not true at all. It depends completely on the species. For example,
Maroon clowns are very aggressive ... but Ocellaris are super-friendly.
What species are your old clown fish? How about the new one?
As for helping a newcomer, rearranging the rock helps with the introduction
of any new fish, whether clown or not. So does turning out the lights after
the introduction, so that the first period of all the fish getting to know
each other is a calmer "nighttime" sleeping cycle.
It also helps to introduce multiple fish at the same time, so there are
multiple targets for the old fish to attack. And to introduce your
larger and/or more aggressive fish last. But that's if you were planning
for the beginning how you were going to set up the tank.

The clowns that were already in the tank are:
1 is a Tomato Clown
the other looks like a Cinnamon Clown (he's a little darker then the
Tomato)
The new one is also a Cinnamon
I say they are cinnamon because I really don't know, both were given
to me by 2 seperate people.. but looking them up on line, that's what
they look like
