The dangers of flat worms are exaggerated, but they don't
look very nice when they populate in large numbers. The
danger is when they start covering your corals. When this
happens they can slowly smother the coral. Often the flat
worms will disappear on their own, especially if the
nutrient levels in the tank are reduced.
