Kim is exactly correct about commercial posts being out of place on
this newsgroup. Further, the rule is not "unwritten" and can be found
in the charter that was voted on when the rec.aquaria.* hierarchy was
formed:

shown just happened to come up at the top of a Google search.]
Essentially, it says that commercial interests are welcome to
participate in newsgroup discussions but that any sort of advertising
or offers for sale should be confined to rec.aquaria.marketplace.
I think we can all get along most easily if everyone understands and
follows the rules.
