i would imagine that even though 1.1ml is indeed just smaller than 1.25ml
which is 1/4 teaspoon who on earth is going to be able to measure that by eye
in a teaspoon...

Surely the best way to measure that would be to use one of those small
syringes like the ones that come with the Salifert test kits.
