I've just found something in my tank that I need identified before
tonight as I have no where to put it that can be heated and it looks
like it might be a nasty.

In the pics here
http://goatdairying.com/fish/marine/slugthing.html
it is in a bucket that is about 9 litres and has a hand grip on the
bottom from which you can get an idea of size. I think I've seen a part
of this in the tank before at night but this morning it was up the top
of the tank between the glass and my Tunze protein skimmer.

I don't have time to do a search right now as I'm meant to be working
and my dialup is running at 28.8 (arrgghh!)

Thanks
miskairal
PS I've got a video clip uploading as well which may take a while and
might not be finished if you read this in the next half hour. The link
is at the bottom of the page above, it's only 2.3MB.

It is a Sea Cucumber, put it back in the tank. Matter of fact it even looks
like
Holothuria impatiens.

Thanks and I agree with you about the species. A friend told me he
thought it was a sea cucumber right after I posted this and so I went
looking tonight via Google and found the exact same page you have given
me - good page!

He/she is back in the tank and my pumps all have covers so I'm keeping
my fingers crossed that all will remain well.
