I notice very tiny creature on the glass that look like small
snowflakes. They are white and have tentacles that radiate thru the
center. They don't seem to move. They are about the size of a small
isopod. What are these creatures? I have several turbo snails in the
tank. I watched as a turbo snail traveled over the creature. The
snail did not like it at all. It contured it's body to make sure that
it did not touch the creature.

We have just noticed an aiptasis growing on a piece of live rock.
Could this be larval aiptasis? Small starfish? Jellyfish?

Mine looked like little starfish or snails but must have fallen prey to
something because they never came to anything.

What I get now are tiny red/orange squid like things less then a cm long.
They too just seem to vanish.

They sound like hydroids which can smother everything. Try and get rid
of them.
