I've got a 29Gal which, for space & noise considerations, I've got to
run without a properly sized sump/refugium. One option to help a bit
is to use a modified aquaclear 300 as a small refugium with chaeto and
some rubble for pods. Question is, given the small size of the thing,
would I be better off just putting a wad of chaeto in the 29 & finding
some way to keep it away from the filter & skimmer intakes? If so,
what's the best way of doing that?

Thanks for the advice.
