My emerald crab and emperior shrimp shed its shell recently. I though I was
looking at the dead carcuss only to be realized the crab and shrimp appeared
for feeding and it was bigger.
This maybe a silly question but does anyone know if leaving the shell in the
tank will not harm the tank?

HI!

I've been told its fine to leave them in the tank... My clown fish eats
the shell of my cleaner shrimp...

So you fine to leave it....
