I have a fairly well-stocked, some might say overstocked, tank. All's well
and has been stable for a good while. But one fish - a silver dollar - has
begun to be bullied relentlessly by others, particularly a large gourami and
lately even a silver shark - usually the most placid of beasties. He's
already lost most of his tail (no other fish has been nibbled) and some
evenings spends hours just endlessly fleeing bullies. Is it possible that
they're hungry and trying to kill off the opposition? (He does eat heaps.)
I've akways taken the messages about not over-feeding to heart, and as I
say, all's been well up till this. But maybe they're just not getting enough
to eat. Any thoughts appreciated.
