I have noticed danios can be quite aggressive towards each other sometimes and tend to chase each other about. I know their normal behaviour is to keep busy and move a lot, but I wondered how they would fare with a fighter. I keep a betta with tetras currently and there is no problem between them. I would love to get another betta for the other tank which houses 6 danios. Of course, I felt it sensible to ask first because I don't want to get one and find out it's not a good idea to put them together the hard way! Many thanks. Take the betta you have and put it in your danio tank - watch and see what happens. If bad things happen switch the betta back to his original tank. He actually chases the other fish more than they chase him. Maybe you can find it on Google's archives. Apparantly some bettas do fine with danios but many others are very uncomfortable with the activity. Maybe you could see if your betta that's with the tetras is comfortable with danios.
