If your house is that much hotter inside than it is out then it's far
from being well insulated. Just as your shed, with practically *no*
insulation, will be like an oven in the sun.

Interesting point but you are forgetting windows....a well insulated house
will hold the heat....

I was assuming they'd be open on days like we've been having... And you
could always draw the curtains to cut down on the direct IR radiation.
