Hi,

In my LFS, there's a tank of mainly female Krinensis, with one male who's
been there a couple of weeks now, I think because his tail is slightly
frayed no-one wants to buy him.

I need a male Krib, and wondered if I bought him, would his tail sort
itself, or do fins stay damaged once damaged ?

Superficial fin damage will regrow but it will never be perfect.

The tail will regrow but you might need to get some "melafix" or
"pimafix" as they will help with regrowth and prevent any fungal
infection
