Nope, it's only a 60L Nano reef....sits on the worksurface in the
kitchen....I decided to try small first to see if I liked it before
going out and spending a fortune....It's got powerheads and a protein
skimmer - live rock does the rest - nitrates have been zero for weeks
but I do get a trace reading on phosphates - could be that the algae is
using up the nitrates. I do think some algae to outcompete the red stuff
would be a good idea - I had an idea of putting some in one of those
breeder traps so it could be easily moved out for asthetics.

It's the slime stuff - I guess some repositioning of the powerheads
would help - will do it this weekend...

I know what you mean....apparently if I want a larger reef tank I'm
going to have to give up one of the freshwaters *sigh*
