We have 4 Angel fish and recently discovered eggs in our tank, and also that
our fish are very protective of their eggs from the other two fish and yet
were eating them. Some of the eggs are an amber colour and the majority are
white. We have fashioned a partition out of scenery to protect them but are
concerned of their future as we dont have another tank can you help?

I spent years trying to get Angel Fish eggs to hatch and only succeeded
a couple of times. The eggs get fungal & bacterial damage very easily,
and need a constant flow of water over them. They will tend to lay eggs
on flat hard surfaces, so I propped some plastic pieces from a filter
housing in the corner of the tank. Once the female had done her thing I
removed the eggs on the plastic to another tank of clean water with a
good current over the eggs.

It's incredibly hard work, but worth it when you see a tank full of tiny
Angel Fish :-)
