Anyone have experience of this? I have a heavily planted tank with an algae
problem. manufacturer's blurb says it's ok to leave it in the filter
indefinitely but I've not met anyone who's tried it yet.
does it have any affect on plant growth or are any fish affected by it?
Blurb says perfectly safe for all fish but I'd like to make sure first!

I've used it but I found that TMC phosphate remover did a better job (was
recommended to me by a professional!). Fish/plants etc seemed uneffected.

i also use elimi phos by tropic marin,

im gonna try kent nitrate sponge too,

but the elimi phos works, its just expensive 8.99 for a month for 25 gal
tank, double that for the 50 gal tank.
the nitrate sponge is rechargable, so after a week soak it in salt water and
reload, worth a try and about the same price, only dont only use it the
once.
