I've a few (6) Silver Sharks that I've had since they were tiny little
things.

They're now about six inches long and bulky and have fairly obviously
outgrown the 5 foot tank they have. Every little fight and squabble now
leads to water coming over the edge of the tank, and they're just not
comfortable.

Firstly how big can they get ?

Secondly what size tank would seem sensible allowing for growth ?

Thanks

Edward, I'd say, try and find a buyer! Silver Sharks, well looked after will
reach 14", possibly more. A tank of at least 8ft lenght, and some
considerable depth........maybe 2ft will be required. methinks you have a
problem :)

There is space for such a tank and it would be on a solid concrete
floor. Plus I've got a bit of time to install it and let it age
naturally before the fish go in. My concern is going to all the expense
to have them die on me a month later :-)

Getting rid of them isn't an option. They're part of the family now !

Brilliant stuff. I love the way one of the lady fish keepers has put
her own photo into the gallery :-)
