Please log in for more thread options Hi,
Two weeks ago I was bought a Synodontis Ocellifer by my girlfriend for
my birthday.
its is about 6" long, and she paid around £30 for it.
It is in a tank with a striped talking catfish (platydoras costatus) and
a polypterus senegalus, and a 5" Clown Loach.
He is being very boistrous, as I think the tank is too small for him
really, it is a 31 uk gallon tank.
I am going to be possibly looking for a new home for him, would anyone
here be interested in buying him?
I live Nr Chester, and you would need to pick him up. I would be looking
at getting around £20 for him, which I think is a good deal as my gf
paid £30, and onyl had him 2 weeks.
Here is a link to the stats for this fish:

The images on PCF.com aren't very good, he looks more or less exactly
like this:

I would be willing to swop him for another platydoras costatus, plus a
few other fish, as long as the total it around the £20 mark.
please post a reply to this if you would be interested in purchasing him.
Thanks, I wait in hope.

The money wont be going to a new tank now, but I have been eyeing a
9foot tank. but that will have to wait till I move out in about 18months.
The CL will grow to 15" but it will take 20years, as these fish are slow
growing and live for 30yrs+
There is enough room for the platydoras costatus and the polyterus.
Are you interested in buying the fish?

No - I'm moving house soon (hopefully) & my 7'x2'x2' tank is sitting empty
in the garage. My clowns only took ten years to outgrow it.
