Hi all esp to you folks with the vision 180 ,, a question i need to ask
owners of this tank , that i have been trying to get an answer too but
without sucess
I believe the tank is acrillic coated glass ? i couldnt believe this when i
was told its really put me off buying this tank.
My concern is that it could easily be scratched .. can you please tell me
how you all have got around this problem surely the surface must scratch

I don't think that it is, I know I haven't got any scratches from where I
clean mine with an algae magnet. And I have even been using a Stanley knife
blade to remove the really stubborn algae. That hasn't scratched the glass
either.

All the Juwel tanks are all glass AFAIK.
I've got three ( Rio's 400, 240 and Rekord 60 ) and the ads and manuals say
they are and I clean them with algae magnets and scapers for glass.
Another Pete :-)

Hmmm......Maybe because they're curved ?
I always assumed all Juwel tanks were glass. I know my three are anyway.
Sorry for the bum steer :-(
